I’m guessing you have “surprise” diamonds on the north and south sides of your solitaire mount.  If you want to keep the solitaire and band that you have, you’re not going to be able to have a wrap.  Perhaps if you had your rings fitted with a euro shank.  Like this:

Both my marquise solitaire and channel-set wedding band have a euro shank, and both rings stay upright on my finger.

SharonG:  Why don’t you get bumps put in on the inside of your rings? This way they aren’t attached to eachother and they won’t twist on your finger. They are uncomfortable for 2 or 3 days, but you get used to it. I got them put on my E-ring because I kept getting my ring smaller and smaller but it still kept twisting. Finally I just gave in and had them put in, now the diamond stays on top. This should help if they keep twisting.

SharonG:  You can get them put in either or both, it doesn’t matter. They’re not bad. The only time they hurt me is when I put it on at the wrong angle, and they kinda stab my knuckle. You really can’t feel them after a day or two.

texaslemon:  what exactly are ‘bumps’? Do you have any pictures of them? Why do they hurt?

Peanut-Sue:

I don’t have a picture of my actual ring with them, but they look like this.

Mine are very small. It probably depends on the size of your ring, mine is a size 6, these look a little bigger. I can not see them at all while my ring is on. I guess some people find they hurt because they might make the ring TOO tight? I can still twist my ring easily but it doesn’t twist on it’s own. If you google pictures, you’ll see all sorts of reactions, but they look like reactions to the actual ring not the bumps. Or if, like I said, the bumps made it too tight.

I’ve only had to take my ring off for a day or two once because it was getting irritated and felt like it was chafing. I think my fingers were just really super swollen though, and as soon as i put it back on after a day or so i haven’t had the pain since. It probably would have hurt with or without the bumps.
