@dickinson:  I am. I can’t find a band to go with my engagement ring and we keep having issues with the prongs because of the sizing, so it will become a special right hand ring. We didn’t spend a lot of time looking for it, or a lot of money so I don’t feel as bad.

I’m currently on the hunt for a pretty, unique band that I can wear all the time. What does your’s look like?

I’m wearing the band only. That was my intent from day one. I’ll be wearing the engagement ring on my right hand, and it was picked out knowing that.

I’m not a big jewelry wearer, so I like the simplicity of this.

I just wear a solid gold band.  Works for me.

I will always wear my wedding band and the engagement ring for special occasions only.

Yes I planning on doing this too after the wedding. I can’t find a band that sits flush with my e-ring and I also have a habit of knocking my hand (and fingers) really hard sometimes on walls, tables… etc = e-ring damage. I also love the simplicity of just a wedding band

I’ll be wearing just the wedding band, with the engagement ring on my right for special occasions.  I like the simplicity of the wedding ring only (SO had to talk me into an egagement ring, believe it or not).

As I understand it, wearing both on the same finger is relatively recent style.

Both my mother and my step-mother only wear wedding bands. I really love my rock but I’m jealous about how wearable their rings are. They never catch or bang on anything and they rarely need to be cleaned!

I’m far for being married at this point but have definitely tossed around the idea of wearing only my wedding band once the day comes.  I also have an engagement ring that I’m not super in love with.  At any rate, in my career I have to wash my hands multiple times daily and put on/take of gloves all day so the engagement ring would get caught anyway.

I will wear just my wedding band a lot – like when I’m running or doing yoga or doing yard work / running errands on the weekend. I will likely just wear my e-ring and band during the week when I’m working or for special occasions. I love my e-ring but it is a bit too flashy for me sometimes (like when I’m in sweaty workout clothes!)

Surprisingly a lot of women wear one.   I’ve decided I will upgrade my engagement ring’s status to a wedding ring at the wedding and just wear the one forever.  but I LOVE my ring so that’s a different situation.

I’ll likely also buy a stunt double ring for travel when it’s inappropriate to wear a very expensive ring around without setting myself up as a target and those kind of inexpensive rings don’t look good next to my ering which is far to fancy.

There’s something I really like about the simplicity of just a band!
