I like your ring! It is pretty and unique!
I like the first and the third ring but not the second one. IMO, the curved band does not work at all.
The first one is nice because it really accents and showcases your center stone. The third one is good because the stone sizes will be the same.
But if you are worried about it looking too wide for your small hands or not enhancing the center diamond, I would do the first one.
Have you tried on plain bands too just to see how it looks?
I probably should have phrased that better... The first ring would be a straight version of the second picture under "1". ...If you followed that. :P For the first ring first picture, it's supposed to demonstrate the width and how the eternity-ness looks with my e-ring. The second one would be the curved version of the straight band I would get, if that makes sense. I'd be getting the straight version of that ring.
I like 1 or 2 if they were both straight (which it looks like is your plan). Your e-ring is so pretty! I love incorporating the birthstones.
I like the smaller band. It doesn't compete with your ering.
I would do the straight version of #2.
@mammamia: Thank you! :D Yeah, I think I'm kind of leaning towards that... I thought about doing a plain band, but I saw a picture of someone else's ring where their e-ring was at least partial eternity and the band was plain and I felt like it kind of looked awkward and even drew decent attention to the plain band just because it looked almost out of place next to the diamond-y one. Also, these are shinier. ;)
@erostron: Thank you very much! They also happen to be my fiance's and my favourite colours. :D
Thank you so much for the input, guys! I really appreciate it!
I love the first one because it really lets your amazing e-ring stand out.. those colors are so pretty!
I like the third one best. I'm a fan of bands/e-rings being the same width for some reason.
I like the first choice. The wider band is so brilliant it takes away from the beauty of the coloured stones. I feel like the thinner band compliments your band, style and centre stone without being the centre of attention.
I really like the 1st one! It doesnt take away from your E-Ring at all and is a great size! I dont really think that the curved band goes with your original ring. Good luck and what a beautiful engagement ring!!
I like the third one the best, only because I have a thing about both bands being the same width. Definitely not the contour band though.
I LOVE the ring! I would like something similar. lol
I think the first one goes best with being an accent!
I like the third one too. I'm not a fan of curved bands, IMO I think they look weird if you wear them alone.
i like the first one! its not as demanding of your attention as the third one.... the first one puts the focus back on your e-ring... :)
I dont know why but I like the last picture as well, it just looks the best in my eyes :) All of them are great though!
I like #2 (straight) best. You're right about the sparkle compaired to #1 . If you want even more emphasis in your e-ring then I would go with less sparkle of #1.
Love your e-ring btw!

First, my e-ring:
In case you're curious, the side stones are peridot (August - my birthstone), blue topaz (December - his birthstone), and black diamond. (He customized it all by himself!)
Okay, here's what I'm trying to decide between:
1) A half-eternity band, channel set (since my side stones are channels), fairly small/thin.
2) The matching band that "goes with" the e-ring, only with all diamonds instead of the custom stones.
I went to the jeweler and these are the closest I could get (though they're rather big on me and look a little goofy).
1)
My hand kind of looks dead there...excuse that. Anyways, the band I'd actually get would be the one below, but it's curved and this one is about the right width so I added it to get a feel of how the straight one lays next to the e-ring and how the thin-ness looks on my hand.
I guess they're pretty similar...This curved one just looks shinier to me. :P
2)
This isn't actually the ring that goes with it, but it's about the same width. The one that this is supposed to represent would have 7 stones like my engagement ring (same size and lined up exactly -- only they'd all be diamonds instead of matching the e-ring's stones).
The most important thing to me is accenting the e-ring and not taking away from it. It's custom and so "me", I don't want to take away from that at all and keep the focus (at least most of it -- some attention to the sparkly band is good ;) ) on it instead of the band if possible. I want it to accent the e-ring instead of looking like two separate rings...if that makes sense.
What do you think? Do you think the "matching" one is too thick (I have pretty small hands and I'm a little worried it will look like a lot of ring)?
