Hey! I think that’s my wedding band you’ve got there!  Of course, with my e-ring it sits right up against it.

Personally I like it when the e-ring and band look like a set, so I voted for the ‘actual’ matching one. What are the chances you’ll change your mind in another 10 or 20 years?

If you think this new set you will wear forever, I’d say don’t worry about the money and buy whichever will make you happiest, even if it’s more expensive.  If you think you’ll change it again for another set down the road, keep the one you already have.

    Just my 2 cents. Smile

Great job finding your dream ring! It’s gorgeous!

I also say don’t worry about the price difference and choose which one you’ll be happiest with. I think either one will be beautiful.

I really like the one you have. I think the gap looks lovely! I sometimeswish mine had more of one. For some reason it is really appealng to me.

I”d rule out the Pompeii one right off the bat… I dont’ like the difference in the way the diamonds are set against the style of your ering.

I do like the exact match of the matching band, but I also like the flexibility of the band you already have, because I feel like the contour is subtle enough that you could wear the band alone if you wanted to.  Do you ever plan to?  For me, that would be the deciding factor.  If you ever want to wear the band alone, rock the gap.  If you plan on soldering the set together, or just plan to always wear the band and ering together, the  hassle of constantly straightening and re-aligning them would be too much for me, so I’d get the matching band.

I prefer the set you have with the slight gap, but it’s up to you.  Congrats on finding your dream ring, btw 🙂 Let us know which you choose for the wedding band.

I say keep the one you have – it matches really well and I like the more subtle contour than the full out half circle of the others.

I have ordered a band from pompeii3 and had to return it because I wasn’t thrilled with the diamonds (pretty dark and cloudy), could have just gotten a dud though. I voted for number 1 I love a gap!
