Which would upset you more if you lost one? For me, I would have to go with the E-Ring simply because it was a starting point for a new chapter of our life and for the obvious reason that it cost more. However, the wedding ring has it’s meaning and it’s blessed.

I would be more upset about losing my engagement ring because my diamond was my husband’s grandmother’s.

@mandb122: That is a good reason to be upset. How special to have that 🙂

Wedding band, because of the sentiment. My wedding band will also be more expensive so there’s that as well.

E-ring because it will be more expensive and because my FI picked it out and surprised me with it. Then again, I am not married yet, so I may feel differently afterwards.

Def. the e-ring, it’s the only ring I have 🙂

Right now, all I have is an e-ring. But considering both… I would be pissed if I lost my e-ring. It’s so unique and probably much more expensive then my e-ring will be. I think I’ll get a plain wedding band. Although it will be significant in some ways, I could totally switch wedding bands and be fine… but not my e-ring 🙁

My e-ring. It’s my great-great aunt’s, given to Mr.ND by my grandma (who’s passed, we were really close), and it’s more expensive. Also, I’m having 2 wedding bands (one soldered to the e-ring, one to wear alone) so I’d still be likely to have a wedding band.

Both rings have equal sentiment to me so losing either would be absolutely devastating.
I think losing my engagement ring would be worse solely because I don’t know if it could be recreated. While it’s a fairly common style, it has bezel set diamonds on the sides of the setting wich I’ve never seen on another ring like it. My wedding band was custom made once and could be custom made again since I know it’s exact specifications.

I would be devestated if i lost my e-ring. It was SO’s mom’s e-ring. She gave it to him to propose to me. He’s the youngest of 4 boys (all married) so it means a lot to me.

Wedding band, hands down. I barely wear my e-ring now that I’m married.

E-ring, it would be much harder to replace (custom design) than the band (mass produced).

My engagement ring, because padparadscha sapphires are HARD to find!!

I said engagement ring too, because it seems more sentimental to me, for some reason. Of course I’d be distraught with losing my wedding band too, but the engagement ring is what “started it all”, so to speak, so I feel like it has more sentimental value.

Engagement ring by far. Firstly, my e-ring is more expensive so financially it would be worse if we lost it. Plus my FI put in so much work getting me my stone and setting and shipping it back and forth and everything, it’d be really hard to replace. Not just because it’s literally hard to replace, it’d also be hard to replace sentimentally.
