I say contour, but only if you are always going to wear them together at all times (solder them or somethign).  I (personally) don’t like the look of a contour band by itself, and I sometimes wear my wedding band, which looks like the straight band, by itself.  They are both gorgeous!

I wouldn’t worry about a vintage ring “aging” you- lots of younger brides have vintage rings.  I say choose whichever look you like best.  If it were me, I’d choose the top band (non-curved) so it’ll look better when you wear it by itself…

I would say the flat if you ever plan on not wearing you e-ring. The contour will look a lot better against your ring, but I have to agree w/ megan that it doesn’t look as nice alone.

I guess my vote would depend on if you plan on always wearing your e-ring or not ๐Ÿ™‚

If you wear your e-ring all the time, then I say go for the contoured band. I think it would look much better to have the wedding band sit flush against your e-ring. I think it would look beautiful and not too “old” to have the band contoured to fit.

I must be the only person in the world who thinks a bit of space between the engagement ring and wedding band looks cool. My vote is for the straight, regular band because it’s more versatile. Also, vintage-y bands are really in right now—it definitely will not age you.

I agree with the other bees– I think the contoured ring is beautiful and would be perfect if you plan to generally wear them together. But if you plan to take your e-ring off and just wear your band, you should go w/ the straight. ๐Ÿ™‚

Also, don’t worry about if a ring ages you… i really don’t think the style of your ring says much about how old you are because everyone has such diverse tastes.

I would wait until you see something you cannot live without. I never could have imagined how special my wedding band is to me. I have it and I’ve seen it … now fiance has it locked away so I cannot cheat … =) I wore it out once and he freaked out. LOL. I have a month till the wedding …

Our band is just the same band as my engagement ring has – round diamonds I think they’re channel set in platinum all the way around.

I plan to wear it on my right ring finger. My jeweler told me to either do that or solder them together .. which I do not want to do.

flat ring, because you might not always want to wear your e-ring after you’re married and sounds like you love it.

I voted for the vintage contoured ring – but then I had a thought – what about looking for a newer contoured ring? That way you’re getting the best of both worlds! There are tons out there and it wouldn’t make sense to get somehting you’re only “eh” about.
