The only thing that matches with my ring and my husband’s is the silver color of the rings.

Taiki It didn’t matter to us if they matched or not. I let him choose whichever ring he wanted. He is the one that has to wear it the rest of his life! He was thinking of going with a black tungsten ring, which would have been totally different than mine and I would have still been ok with it.

My wedding band matches my e-ring, but our wedding bands don’t match each other.  It was more important that we both got something we liked, than to have them match!  Mine is a 3/4 eternity band in white gold.  His is colbalt chrome with an inlay of meteorite in the middle.

My ring and my hubby’s ring do not match…at all. I’m a very girly girl and hes a rugged outdoorsy type of guy. I chose a very feminine wedding set and I love my peach champagne sapphire with diamonds set in rose gold! My hubby chose a handmade Damascus steel ring and he lovestige masculine look. Here they are!

We briefly considered going full-matching, but in the end we both just went for what we were happy with, and it turned out with both liked yellow gold!

Ours sort of match? I’ve got a plain 1.5mm white gold band. His band is a plain 4mm stainless steel one. Or was until he lost it. The idiot.

It was important to me that our rings match.  I have two sets that are very different though so that made it difficult.  I have a rose gold solitaire with a rose-floral band and a white gold set with tonnes of detailing and milgrain.  I had a plain white gold band for him with milgrain edging but it wasn’t wide enough for my liking and it would bother me that it doesn’t match with my rose gold set.  I JUST found this band that matches both sets.  I am waiting for it to come in 🙂

We are a bride/bride couple and these are the rings we have selected:

My engagement ring:

My wedding band:

My partner’s wedding band:

My rings are rose gold, my partner’s ring is copper and silver. So they have similar materials ( copper in her ring, the copper used to make my gold rose). I prefer more feminine jewlery and my partner prefers more rugged jewlery. I can’t wait for us to have our rings and wear them!

Taiki:  BTW, thank you for the inclusive language in your post! I know I often feel like the odd woman out when posts ask for things like “let’s see your man’s ring”. So thank you for posting this in a way that includes all couples!

Taiki:  There are baguettes on my engagement ring so we looked for baguettes in my wedding ring and the hubs insisted he wanted one for himself too 🙂 HE likes the matchy-matchy look, I personally thought he’d prefer something more ‘manly’ haha!
