Wedding band suggestions? What would you pair with this?

@amallama:  That is simlilar to my ring (cathedral solitaire with profile details) and I picked a half eternity band that is basically bead-set. I think that would look good with yours, as well, especially in mixed metals! 🙂

I have a three-stone cathedral setting and I picked a low-profile half-bezel to go with it.  From the side it is wayyyyy lower but from the top it looks like its higher.

Cathedral settings can be hard to pair because they can overwhelm a simple or plain band- when I tried on a band without stones it completely disappeared under my e-ring. Good luck!

@amallama:  Surely!

FWIW, I agree with @bkrocks13:  — cathedral settings require a somewhat more substantial band or it will just get lost. E.G., mine is 3 mm thick.

@amallama:  Thanks! 🙂 🙂 I looked first at the Tiffany metro band which is only 1.3 mm wide and it totally disappeared. But you can probably get away with a 2 mm band, depdning on the width of the e-ring? Good luck! Love your choice of e-ring.

@amallama:  I’d pair it with a pretty floral band, like one of these. I have the first one and it’s delicate, but at 3 mm it isn’t easily lost when paired with another ring.

I have a low profile Cathedral Setting as well…. feature Diamond in a Multi-Diamond Setting (almost cocktail like ring)

And I have 2 WBands… one sparkly & one plain.

The sparkly one is a half-carat half-eternity band (we bought it at Peoples / Zales).

So I too like that look with a Cathedral Ring.

People’s Zales has a large selection in different styles, and at different price points… 1/4 Carat TW and up.

We went for a channel set one because it went so well with my ERing (they look like they were made for each other)… and because channel set diamonds tend to wear well, and you don’t feel the prongs etc… so very comfy.

My ring listed as a 1/2 CTW (range only) as it is closer to 0.60 has 10 Brilliant Round CERTIFIED Canadian Diamonds that are G COLOUR and SI Clarity cost under $ 1000, as we got it On Sale (they have a lot of sales, on-line and in-store)

But you can spend more or less, depending on your Diamond criteria.

My two WBands are aprox 2.5 mm each.  I thought I’d go for something even more narrow considering how wide my ERing is, but once I had them on I didn’t favour the 1, 1.5 or 2 mm bands at all.

You truly have to go try things on to get a true measure / feel for things.

Hope this helps,

hmm i would go with something vine-y and dainty because the white gold will already be bright and, well, white, so something solid and wide might look too overpowering next to the delicate colour of rose gold
