I ended up getting 2 bands for myself that go on either end of my engagement ring. My twists are a little bigger than yours though. This is how it looks.

Here is mine, my e-ring has a twisted band and I just did a channel set half eternity with it and love the way it looks. I have two small gaps but otherwise it fits together very nicely. Having any sort of contoured/shadowed wedding band actually made more of a gap not less, unless I would have had one custom made to fit perfectly. I liked also that this way I could wear the band alone if I ever wanted/needed to.

My ering is kind of a cross between twisted and split shank. Here is my set.

CinnamonToBe:  thank you! I tried on a lot until I found what I wanted. so I just suggest that you go to your local jewelry store and try them on to see. my sets are made by a different designer. It probably would work if you get a set that is similar to your band in the engagement ring.

My ring is a twisted split shank. It did not come with a band. However, we chose 2 slightly curved bands. The bands were a set and came together.
