Wedding band that looks good as set but too plain alone

I don’t think a wedding band can ever look “too plain” alone! The classic wedding band is solid precious metal (traditionally yellow gold). That’s what I’m getting and while I’ll often wear my engagement ring with it, I think it’ll look fantastic alone! It’s supposed to look like you’re married, not making a fashion statement 🙂 To me, there’s nothing “Blah” about that at all. You can make a fashion statement with rings on your other hand and other jewelry!

I’m going to have a plain 3mm white gold band so I can wear it when I need to take off the e-ring for hunting, gardening, etc. I think the one in the top and middle pictures is pretty, nothing plain about it!

I don’t think it’s too plain alone. I love the blingy look with your ERing, but I also love the look when worn by itself. Having said that, the last band you put down is also very attractive. Sorry – I’m indecisive today. lol

@memmielee:  TBH I think that ring takes away from your T&CO e-ring. If it were me, I would get a tiny eternity band or a tiny plain platinum band. 🙂

I’ve never worn my band alone and frankly don’t know anybody who wears their band alone (other than random people on the internet who seem to, but IRL every woman I know goes full bling all day every day). If it’s something that you can’t wear one ring, I feel like you usually take off both…

@memmielee:  I don’t want to solder my rings just because then if I lose one, I lose both, haha. I live in NY and have no problem wearing my rings under gloves (I have a low profile solitaire). I have a solitaire and channel eternity band (both from T&Co) so they both have diamonds that would get equally gunked up doing dirty things, so they both come off if I’m cleaning w/ bleach or whatever.

idk I like the first one best and think it looks good alone! So to each his own.

@memmielee:  I love the first one!  I think they look great together and great alone!  I NEVER wear mine apart.  I kind of thought I would, but in 5 years, I’ve never once wore them separated.

I have this issue.  My wedding band looks really twerpy on its own.

We ended up getting me an additional titanium band that matches my husband’s if I need something standalone.  It was cheap and I like knowing that we still have matching rings.  Plus it’s nice to have a fancy option and a rugged option for my rings.
