I’ve been trying wedding rings on all weekend and I’m still a little undecided as to which is the best thickness band for me. I’ve known all along that a nice simple plain band is what I’ve wanted, however I didn’t release the thickness was going to cause me so much confusion. I’m debating between a 3mm or 4mm band. I know a mm difference is hardly much, but it does seem to make a huge difference! I was looking to have a thickish band, as sometimes for work reasons I cant wear my engagement ring, so I want a band that looks good on my finger on its own. The 4mm does that nicely, but when put together with my engagement trying, I’m worried it will swamp it a little whereas the 3mm looks better …..I’m really in a dilemmwhat’s to which is the best……what do you think or . please could you show me some examples of your engagement and plain wedding rings.

Both are lovely! I do prefer the 3mm a little more. It just seems to sit nicely beside your gorgeous ering without overpowering it with the metal. To me, that size makes it pop! Beautiful

I like how the 3mm is more feminine and delicate. Your fingers are quite slender too, and a thicker band looks too overpowering for your hand. Especially since your band is very thin for your e-ring.

I voted for the 3, but I actually think it would look nice with something even slimmer. I love the classic solitaire paired with a simple band.

Just noting that ring “thickness” refers to the measurement from the inside of the ring (next to your finger) to the outside of the ring. What you are asking about is the width of the ring.

I would say 3mm looks better! I think it’s still wide enough to look good on it’s own, but looks nice next to your e-ring as well!

I prefer the 3mm Its actually what I have. I have a solitaire engagement ring with a plain 3mm comfort fit bad. I love it!
