You’ll probably have to go the custom route if you don’t want a gap.

I have a halo ring and although i don’t have a photo, i am buying a separate straight ring, then getting my e-ring altered to solder them together. This won’t happen for a few months as i want my rings separate for our ceremony with my family (in another country, six months later), so it’ll be loose for a while, but eventually they’ll take out two of the little diamonds under the halo and attach the wedding band under the halo – so it’ll fit snugly under. My band is super thin with super tiny sparkles, so i think it only works because its so small.

I also decided that because of the delicacy of the weding band, i need to get them attached to ensure i don’t damage them too much.

My halo is like yours, where the basket isn’t raised. I really wanted a straight band and thought I’d hate the gap. Surprisingly I didn’t. Here’s a picture so you can see. Although, I would recommend just going to try some on because you really won’t know if you love it or hate it until you do.
