I have virtually the same ring (very pretty btw ), and I am getting my wedding band custom made. It will be a plain platinum band, the same style as the band on the ering, but with a slight cut out so that it sits flush against the e-ring. I don’t like the gap and figured it was the best way to avoid it.

I went to one jeweller who wanted to trim my ering to make the band sit flush. I ran and didn’t look back!

I have a similar ring (sides are baguettes not emerald cut diamonds), even so the ring I found complimented my centre stone best was a plain white gold 2 mm band. I have added a couple of diamond eternity bands to the look since 2012! IMHO go plain and add bling on anniversaries. 😉

MoonRabbit:  What a beautiful ring! My ring is also an emerald with two princess cut stones on the side. I tried on quite a few bands but settled on a curved or chevron cut band. I’ve also seen some brides leave a large gap and do a straight band. Are you planning on having your rings soldered? I know some people have commented that they like having their rings separate so that they have the option of just wearing one without the other.

This is the band I got:

This is my ring and the band together. I’m not having them soldered because I like the slight gap left.

My e-ring design is a halo, but here it is with the band anyway.

I actually didn’t expect getting a baguette until I tried one on! Fell in love and had one custom made!
