Back story: My engagement ring was the perfect size (super tight, didn’t move) so we had my wedding band (same brand/width) made the same size. Now, my wedding band spins and spins and is too big! Even when worn with the engagement ring, it’s too big and it bugs me because I have a 1/2 eternity band.
I went to the jewelers this weekend and they told me that both rings were the exact same size and they wouldn’t size down my wedding band because then they can’t ensure the diamonds (between the two bands) won’t rub or whatever. They said they can only make both bands the same size.
Is this true? Is there any solution? Am I stuck with this too big ring?

Also, my engagement ring is already so tight that I can’t size it down as well.

That sounds odd.. usually the e-ring is the one spining since its more top heavy than an eternity band. How can it be the same size, and one be snug and one spinning? I’m not sure why they would refuse to size it if it doesnt fit. A slightly different fit is unlikely to make it rub anymore or less anyways cause you cant predict *exactly* how the rings will sit on your finger. Do you have side profile pics of your rings?

It could be because the wedding band is on the smaller part of the finger and the engagement ring sits on top, the fatter part. Sorry I don’t have any advice on the sizing though.

Ask them to put sizing beads in it
