I think it's a great idea! Just be sure some of your friends who do know the two-step etc are there to start the dancing off, and maybe they can invite other folks to dance with them. the dances are simple. Go for it.
it really does depend on your crowd. we are going with a DJ because of the mix of music tastes in the crowd. but if it was up to me i would have a bluegrass or celtic rock band....
personally being a country girl, i always think everyone loves country... so go for it :)
i think its a great idea! if its the music you like then thats all that matters!

We are thinking of using a local band, but local I mean a band that plays here around the area and is not really known as a wedding band. The music is somewhat what I would call classic country. We love them. And they do have some cover songs and are willing to learn any songs that we want. My worry is that people won't get up and dance. Any thoughts? Thanks in advance!
