We got my fiance’s band at Kay Jewelers (because he just wanted a plain Tungsten ring, nothing expensive or fancy). My engagement ring setting we got at EternityDiamonds and the center diamond from GoodOldGold.

For looking at jewelry on the internet, I look at the vendors on PriceScope website. If they are listed there, I know they are reputable and have quality stuff. http://www.pricescope.com/dealers.asp

We went to look at bands the other day, FH needs to actully see & try on ANYTHING and debate for hours! We found the ring he wanted for like 400-600 cheaper on overstock! There stock seems to change a TON but really popular stuff seems to be re-stocked quick my friend got the last band in-stock and then a few weeks they had more in (she wanted 2) so she was pumped

For plain platinum bands, I like The Facets Collection and e-weddingbands.com.

FI – QuiltedPony on Esty. Me – GreenLakeJewelers. Both are white gold. We’re going to wear these things for the rest of our lives – special was way more important than price. That said FI’s was $850 for a custom design and mine was $650 (band engraved with a custom design).

Etsy sellers can be cheaper than retail because a lot of them work out of their homes so have low overhead.

We went with Blue Nile.  We both tried on rings in our city to find out exactly what we wanted, and then used Blue Nile since the prices were soooooo much better!  And their customer service was amazing when we needed to exchange my husband’s ring.

I bought FI’s band at Larson Jewelers and was VERY happy with their products and customer service.

I’m getting my FI from Annharringtonjewelry.com because he wanted a basic titanium band and the exact one he picked out was cheaper online.

I got my husbands ring from WestCoastJewelry.com.  They had the same ring that Kay and Helzberg had but for about 1/4 of the price.  We love it and can’t find any differences in the one we got from online compared to the one we saw in the stores.
