We used a band managed by IGMC (www.IGMC.net) Iris, the owner, has many bands to choose from. We selected Prayer and they were AMAZING! People have been talking about them all week (wedding was Sat.) And, friends who used much more expensive bands for their wedding were pretty surprised because they're so good, really nice, and for NY Metro pretty affordable.
We're getting Nuts in a Blender to play our NC wedding, but they're a NY band.
There is this great band I listened to a function, there name was Pearl and they were in NYC, if you do a google search hopefully yo ucan find them.
I'd suggestion High Society Rhythm. Joan Crowe, their lead singer, has so much energy and can sing ANYTHING. I love jazz, so I know they do that really well, but can get people dancing too.

Hi there!
I'm looking to book a band for my wedding in July but how do I choose from all the options out there?? Does anyone have any recommendations on a good, affordable wedding band in the NJ/NY area? I would love to hear about any suggestions you might have! Thanks! :D
