Hi Jaylii9,
We're going with the 3rd ring. Mine will obviously be a thinner version. I found these titanium rings at Zoe&Doyle on Etsy and instantly fell in love. They can be engraved, but I just realized that it may not soldier well with my engagement ring so we're thinking about looking for something else just in case.
I have diamonds in mine, but my friend got one custom made for hers and it has no jewels but a light engraved design all throughout the band.
It is GORGEOUS! The other night she mentioned wanting to upgrade to diamonds one day (she's been married almost 3 years) and I was like, oh don't! It was so perfect.
I wanted plain, but my e-ring is pretty ornate and a plain band would have really contrasted with it. So pave diamonds it is for me.
@Breezy - stupid question, are they really purple inside or is that part of the photography? They are great looking rings!
mine's a plain white gold band. it's jewish tradition to have an uncut wedding band, so that's what we went with.

@RoddyBride09 - yes! its actually purple!!!!! Do your eyes a favor and click on the link in my post. They really have some beautiful and original rings.
edit--- click HERE instead. they are backed up on orders and took off their pics on the main site.
The ring below is waht I want, just with no diamonds. I don't know if you can see the beading detail on the edges of the ring? I want that detail to go around the band. I also have this on my engagment ring so it will go together.
I like the idea of engraving art sprout love, I just don't know what I would get or how it would go with my engagement ring. I am also attaching a pic of my engagement ring on here. Not the best pic, but it's what I have on my work computer!
I almost decided on a plain yellow gold wedding band. I loved how it looked next to my engagement ring. I always assumed that was the type of wedding band I wanted and was really surprised to find that they were kept in the men's section of the jewelry store we went to. I wanted the width of the band to be equal to the width of my engagement band (which is 2.5mm I think). Anyways, I was unclear if they were able to engrave anything on the inside due to the small width.
However, my ring is very simple - just a round solitaire, and I was worried it would look too plain, so I picked a wedding band with pave set diamonds.
I don't have a pic and can't find anything like the ring I'm getting online, but I'll describe it as best I can! It is a 2mm white gold band with a satin finish, and it has really thin diagonal carvings in the band going in the same direction that are really shiny. I love it; and I was so glad to find a non-diamond band that was pretty, too!
@Breezy - WOW the purple is fabulous. I love that detail. What a cool and unique ring!
I've always envisioned wedding bands to be the simplistic yellow gold bands. That's what my parents had and they matched. I don't know where the surge came for sparkly wedding bands, but I've never wanted one; I feel like they look too bling bling especially since I'll already be wearing a diamond with my engagement ring. We plan on getting plain brushed gold bands (possibly white gold but my FI really wants just a plain gold band). We really want them to match together.
@artbee - I've been looking all over for a band like yours. Do you mind sharing where you found it?
I am getting this ring from Tiffanys in yellow gold: (sorry the pic is huge i can't shrink it...)

Originally I wanted a plain band because my engagement ring really stands well on its own, but then I tried on a plain band with it the other day and it just looked really bad! Having diamonds on it actually makes my engagement ring more beautiful
Hawaiian Jewelry. I might be biased, but I love it!
It's yellow gold in the middle and the outer band is white gold.

I don't want any gems in my wedding band. An e-ring will be more than enough upkeep, and I'd like something traditional that can take a beating. Wedding bands covered in diamonds are super popular but not something I ever cared for. I've been eyeing up this guy from Apples of Gold:

I prefer the rings that are flat, not rounded. Or I might get one a little bit more ornate, such as this ring from e-weddingbands:

How awesome would it be to get a vintage wedding band? They tend to be priced more reasonably and have gorgeous styles and engravings.
I'm probably going to get either a very plain one or something like the second one that Minutiae posted above.
I think if I were going to get a gold band with no jewels, I would get a couple different thin bands in different types of gold and stack them (wedding bandS)... I love mixing Rose gold with White Gold and Yellow Gold -the ones below:
I'm thinking something very similar to Artbee's picture above.
Here is a great online store with low prices for all types of plain bands - they have every possible combo of metal/width/finish etc
@Starbright: I wish you hadn't told me that!!! Now I might have to have one!
I've already picked out my e-ring (still waiting though) and I've always just wanted a plain yellow gold ring. I love this really thin 2mm one from blue nile. I may ask for a super thin eternity band to go with the set one day (for an anniversary or something) but I just love the classic look of yellow gold bands.
ans this is e-ring I want to go with it:

I have the same band as artbee and we got ours from Hannoush Jewelers - good luck, show us when you've picked out a band!
I have a band very similar to ArtBees too. Mine is 2.5mm wide and they had no problem engraving it.
@MrsK2be: I got it while in Hawaii (literally ordered my wedding ring a week before the wedding), but if you google "Hawaiian Heritiage Rings" or "Royal Hawaiian Rings", you'll find them.
My wedding band isn't going to have any diamonds on it. It will only have a milgrain edge. I'll post pics as soon as it's finished, the jewelers are still making it.
We got inverse dual gold colour bands.
This is mine (the ladies, obviously) FH's is the same but inverse colours. Love them!

Anyone else have/are planning to get a wedding band with no diamonds or other jewels in it? Show me yours!
My plan is for a simple wedding band with no jewels. I think I might have a beadesign along the edges to match my engagement ring. I love my engagement ring, but really want something simpler for my wedding band.
