Okay fellow shoe-loving Bees… I need some help.
I’m getting married in a month (EEK!) and, if the weather gods allow, will be having all my photos taken outside. The shoot is in an urban area, but with cobblestone walkways, and my cute teal satin strappy very thin high heel shoes will probably not be the best bet.
I’ve looked everywhere, but it seems like the only really cute boots (preferably ankle booties) have really high thin heels, which I want to avoid. I don’t want flats.
The shoes can be white, teal, turquoise or maybe silver…purple might also be an option, just for fun. Bonus points if I can go into store to see them…AND I live in Toronto, Ontario.
Thanks, ladies. 🙂

Okay, a couple options. This is not an easy one!!!
Purple ankle boots
They’re not ankle boots, but they’re white and could be really fun.
Black & white, not super fashionable but very Canadian 😉
That’s all I’ve got for now. Gosh that’s frustrating! LOL!

This is gray, and the heal may be too narrow. Those are hard requirements!

Okay, I know this isn’t exactly the boot you are looking for, but every time I see a bride wearing Hunter’s with her wedding gown, I am envious. Alas, no snow in July 🙂
How about these sliver wellies:
It’s hard to tell from the website (they look more grey), but I’ve tried them on in person and they are definitely metallic silver!
Here’s a better picture…

You guys are awesome!
@bakerella: Got to love the Sorrel’s! I might have to think about those. 🙂 I’d definitely get a lot of wear out of them. I’ll check the others out!
@vaness13181: oooo…they are super cute and could work for slushy winters in the city. I will check those out!
@julies1949: I love the second ones you posted in particular, but I think that the heel may be too narrow. Those Docs are FANTASTIC…I just don’t know if I’d wear them after the wedding…colours are great though.
@TealChocolate: LOL Will do. It’s tricky. I was thinking of a pair of fur moccasins but I’m wearing one of my grandmother’s fur coats and I think that’s too much fur.
@lefeymw: I know! Crazy cobblestones interfering with my cute shoes. Those are hot, but too narrow. Thanks!

or these by poetic license:

I can’t find a picture, but I just remembered the TV as Sears is currently running. They are showing a cute pair of red ankle boots with a flower on the outside of the ankle. They might be available in other colors. They are either Attitude or Jessica brand.

These booties (with a bow) are blue, but like a dark teal:
They also use to make the hunters boots in a teal/turquoise color too. I don’t see it on their website, but there are other blues. Rain boots would be pretty adorable! And you can switch back to your strappy heels later.

Okay, I know that these have an open toe (and they are probably too expensive) but I am in LOVE with these boots!
Thanks for all the help. I have lots of options now. 🙂 They are from Anthropologie.
