Alright so i have always wanted to wear boots with my wedding dress ever since i even started thinking about getting married. I have a HUGE collection of cowboy boots (16 pairs). One of the first things i did when i got engaged was go on a search for the PERFECT boots! I found this beautiful pair of dark brown Corral boots with deep teal inlay in a gorgeous design at the Buckle in a local mall where i live. They, of course, didnt have my size and i was DETERMINED to find them somewhere. I searched online all day and finally found them on eBay in my size and ordered them RIGHT away.
I am in love with them but i have also found these flats online that i LOVE too but i can’t find them anywyere. They are Steve Madden “Bride”.
I am obsessing with them and if i could find them for sale anywhere i would buy them immediately. I love my boots but i’m also really loving these flats so it has me on a hunt to find some similar to them. I think if i find them i will wear the flats to the ceremony and the boots to the reception. Anyone know where to find them? Everywhere seems to be sold out! If i don’t find them i am completely okay with wearing my boots the entire day as i am in love with them as well. There are just way too many choices for brides. Haha.
Also, my bridesmaids are wearing boots too! 😉 They are all different colors. I let them choose which color they wanted. Other than their boots and the flowers there is no other color to the wedding. All the decor is pretty much neutral colors except for the flowers. I am doing burlap and white so its going to be pretty rustic looking, which is what i am going for.
These are their boots and their bouquets a bridesmaid and I made:
They are wearing these black, one shoulder, high low dresses which i think are the perfect cut in the front to show off the boots.
What do ya’ll think?? Is this TOO country? I’m going for more of a country-chic not redneck. I think i’m doing okay so far but i’m afraid people who aren’t as “country” will think it’s redneck. I really like the burlap/lace country type of wedding because its country yet classic at the same time. I am hoping that with the boots i havent gone too redneck. What do you classy brides think?

I love country weddings and think yours sounds very country classy! Darling – the bridesmaids’ boots and matching flowers are wonderful. – Not redneck at all. Your boots are great too!

Super cute and very country chic! I love the different colors of your bridesmaids’ boots. Redneck weddings to me involve camo wedding dresses and confederate flag cake toppers…nothing like the pics you have.

@tarajae06: I wouldn’t call it redneck but to me the dress looks maybe a little too formal for the casual boots
I would need to see it all together. Do you have any pics with your girls wearing it all together? I’m thinking that the boots need maybe need a more casual type of dress?? I think that dress might look better with different shoes…..but I could totally change my mind seeing it together….post pics so we can get a better idea of it all together!

These are 4 out of the 5. The dress on the girl with the green boots is actually a dark purple color- they didn’t have a black one in her size when trying on so she tried purple just to check fit. The dresses are all black.

I love it and I’m a city slicker :).

@jordanhughes: The boots are from Sheplers! They have a few other colors too like red, white, brown and black. They are pretty cheap for cowboy boots-$50.

I think it is SO cute. Coming from another country girl, I think you kept it classy. Not redneck at all. I love it, and think it suits your theme.

My cousin is wearing boots with her wedding dress, and my sister and I are wearing boots as well with our bridesmaid dresses. Personally I am not a boot person, but I think they look cute with certain dresses. I think your dress choice and colors look good together, and not redneck, just country chic (or something along those lines).

I LOVE it!!! I wanted to wear boots but my 9 year old is not a boot girl. She is a city child being raised in the country, lol!!!! Now, my 7 year old will go right with it. We went to the lake last weekend and she was running around in her boots with her bathing suit on. I love the colored boots. Did they get them on Amazon?

The bridesmaid boots are from Sheplers. I bought them for the bridesmaids as their gift.
