AntonyaDial:  It is always okay to do whatever is right for you and your FI. If you feel strongly about saving that money for something other than flowers on your wedding day, then that is exactly what you should do.  Did you check with the Bellagio to see if they have a nosegay or smaller bouquet that you could opt for instead?

AntonyaDial:   Wow, those are expensive bouquets.  How large are the corsages?   How are they designed?  Could you carry one of the corsages instead of a bouquet?  It is nice to hold something.

That’s insane that they charge an additional $80 to add jewels. You can buy a pack of those jewels at the flower mart for under $5.

Would there be any way for you to make it to a Costco or a grocery store or florist the day before your wedding? Costco has gorgeous bouquets for $20-40 — the ones you posted are way overpriced, even for wedding stuff.

AntonyaDial:  Can you bring in your own flowers? That’s definitely what I would do if I were you.

Do you have to use their flowers?  I ordered silk ones from ETSY that were way cheaper.

AntonyaDial:  Ugh! Ya, that does suck! Would you consider getting it if there was something that you were able to save on somewhere else? I know that for my wedding, I went way over my budget for some things, but only when I went under in something else. So I didn’t feel like I was spending more money than I had planned to spend.

If you can’t bring in your own and you’re set on fresh flowers, I would just spend hte money. I mean, what is $110 in the long run? It won’t do very much towards a house etc.. That’s a couple nights out  foregone. I would just spend hte money, get the bouquet of your dreams and have photos with it that you love. A nice bouquet IMHO really does add a lot to photos.
