Hmm.  "Camo" and "elegant" aren’t usually placed in the same sentence, I’m afraid.  I did find one cake when I Googled "camo cake" (click on the "Images" tab) that looks well-made, and even has a deer with antlers on the top.

Huh. I might suggest veering away from the white cake and doing a forest green or chocolate icing with green, orange, or yellow tints to bring in more of the camo look. That might look more elegant than a white cake with a camo accent. Or maybe a white cake with camo-colored stripes (browns, dark greens, oranges) along the bottom of each base?

hey! i’m hooking up with a baker this week too….so i’ve been lookign thru a lot pf pics…..

hmm…..if you’d like to keep it white, you could go with the bands of colored ribbon as suggested above…..then decorate the table with Fall colored leaves, twigs, that sorta thing….maybe have a cool caketopper like deer antlers or something…..

are you guys having a grooms cake? if you are, you could have the more traditional cake and then go full blow ncamo with the grooms cake.

i can’t remember if you guys like the hunting camo or military camo….i’m guessing the hunting bc of the deer accessories….ok, maybe you could have the white cake background with darker tree silhouettes "growing" up the cake. this would look quite cool…….

i can’t seem to remember where i saw that…probably in one of the galleries of the knot or brides.com. but the cake had this sparse forest silhoutte "growing" all over the cake….it was sooo pretty! i think you’d like it!

hmmm…what else….perhaps stagger your 3 tiers, almost like steps to give you a bit more "stage area" on each cake tier then you could set up miniature deer here and there….perhaps a tree….but not too much. just a few to give it a theme but not take it too far.

k…hope one of those helped or at least sparked your imagination….

GL!

ooo!!! what about moss?

perhaps have moss either surrounding the cake base or the baker could use a faux moss to decorate the cake instead of flowers…..i’m thinking that would look cool if done right….

 …….

ok, i think i’m out of ideas…..

I would fous on the leaves in the cammo- that’s probably the easiest aspect to include while keeping it elegant.

The cake can be white with the leaves from the cammo all over or clustered on top like a cake topper.  I also like the ribbon idea to incorporate the colors.

What about having an all white cake, with white fondant shapes creating the camo effect?  It will still be "camo" but it will be white-on-white camo, keeping it a bit more elegant but still subtly tying in your theme.  I hope that’s making sense.

I like cupcakes idea too!

Or you can do a ribbon of the print just the cakes that use a colored ribbon to incorporate your theme but I really like cupcakes idea the best.
