- Wedding: January 2011
My husband and I eloped with our immediate families. We sent out wedding announcements to extended family to fill them in and also make mention of a wedding celebration for the near future (we haven’t pegged a date yet).
So last week we received a card in the mail from DH’s Aunt and Uncle and in their card they asked if we were registered anywhere or if we were in need of anything. We haven’t received any wedding gifts other than from immediate family who was present, and don’t expect to… so I don’t really know how to word my thank you card.
We don’t have a registry, aren’t really in need of material things other than money… but I absolutely don’t feel comfortable writing a thank you note saying “we could use X”.
How would you word this thank you without sounding super unhelpful to DH’s Aunt an Uncle?
