I think there are all sort of copyright violation problems with a mix CD.  FYI.

I don’t think there are copyright violations unless your selling them or earning a profit off copyrighted material.

We are trying to figure out the same thing!  We are probably going to be burning and making our own labels.  I guess there are printers out there that will print right onto a cd, instead of printing on to a label to stick on the cd. Since we were going to invest in a good printer for addressing the invites anyways we may go thie route.

You can order custom labels online at places like beau-coup.com and myownlabels.com but I think they are overpriced for what you can make yourself. I’m thinking if the whole burn directly on to a cd thing can’t happen, we will get plain discs with clear labels as silver is one of wedding colors anyways.

I havn’t checked but I think Kinko’s type stores will burn you copies of discs… we plan on buring them ourselves.. we need about 100 so we figure we’ll do a few everynight.

I would buy a spindle of CDs and Avery (the label company) makes a CD label with templates you can make on MS Word…

That’s what we’re doing!

We did them and I just burnt them myself over the course of a few weeks.  10 here, 10 there… etc.

I got Avery labels and used a design from our invitations.  Then I got recycled cardboard sleeves and affixed a favor tag on the front and I made the insert just on some plain cardstock that we had left over from our invites.

It was actually really easy and fairly inexpensive  Here’s a picture:

Hope that helps 🙂

babgrlshell — I got the sleeves from a place online called Sustainable group.  They have a few different types of recycled CD cases, and they are all pretty reasonably priced.
