Hello hive!

I'm wondering if, when you register online on the Wedding Channel website (through which you can register and manage registries from a lot of stores), can people then go to those brick and mortar stores and find our registry?  Thanks!

Why don't you just contact their customer service?

I assume the answer is yes since I registered at Macy's and could manage my registry online via weddingchannel.com.

But just call or e-mail them and ask.

I think the answer is yes as well.

Hi!

I just saw your post and I wanted to make sure you knew that your guests can search and purcahse from your regsitries created on WeddingChannel.com in the store or on the retailer's website. As long as you register with one of our 22 partners, you can manage your regsitries via WC and your guests can always shop via WC, in-store or on the retailer's website.

Don't forget to sign-up for our Charity Program where WC will make a donation to a charity of your choice when your guests purchase through WC. It is an easy way to give back to your favorite charity.

Congratulations and best regards,
WeddingChannel Registry Team

I was just wondering, how has this been working for people? We are going to start registering tomorrow... and it seems like a good idea to register through WeddingChannel.com and pick a charity- but sometimes good ideas don't translate to convenience.

What have other people's experience been with managing their registry(s) through WeddingChannel.com & the charity giving???

We didn't include the charity giving aspect, but we registered at Macy's through WeddingChannel.com. I would say the experience was just as if we had registered at the store instead of online. There was no difference except you'd have a consultant if you register at the store in person. Our guests had no issues purchasing from our registry either. And we had no issues managing our registry. I mean it's pretty much just like registering in store or through the retailer's website, but it's connected to Wedding Channel.

I registered through the idofoundation.org website, and our registries show up at the stores (I checked!).
