Theknot.com has a great planning checklist. If you enter your date, they will tell you what you should have done by this point, and what you still need to do. I used this quite a bit as a general guideline. You can also add things to the list that are not on there.

Does any one have a wedding checklist they can upload? I have been searching all over the internet and can't find one that doesn't seem like it's from the 80's .."order heart shaped mirrors"..since when does that need to be on a generic wedding checklist? Either a printable version or Excel version would work. I only have 6 months till my wedding and all I've got done so far is the church, reception, food and dress! EEK.
