I’m struggling to find a nice white/ivory coat to use for my wedding. I won’t be getting married outdoors but I will be outdoors throughout the night so I can’t exactly wear my mid length black wool coat. They are super hard to come buy online.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
Please and thank you.

If you can wait just a little longer I’m sure some really pretty coats will start showing up in stores. Try Nordstrum, or Macys. And don’t restrict yourself to white. Check out the gorgeous bride in this winter inspiration board from the perfect palette.

Have you thought about looking at capes? they have very cute capes around and a lot of cold-weather brides use them, also you could look on ebay, they have a huge selection of coats, capes, ponchos, trenches etc in a lot of colors.
something like this
actually, you could easily make or have made for you a white cape-coat, they are a very simple pattern.

H&M actually has really pretty coats too. And “winter white” is always around. I like the cape idea.

Victoria Secret has some beautiful coats!

Thanks for all the tips everyone! I will be checking dept stores come fall, I already intend to.
I think I should mention a few things I should’ve said above:
-Def want long, my dress is a very thin sheath, the less cold I feel the better.
-As cute as capes are, they’re not me
-my colors are black and white. My bridesmaid will be in black so I’m only interested in having white (or a shade of it).
-some faux fur is ok with me, but not 100% faux fur
I’m considering contacting a local seamstress, but they make me nervous.
