I like them both, but my favorite is jade and chartreuse. It’s a very fresh combination. πŸ™‚ You could still use some pinks and corals with this combination, too.

I like the red and jade.  The “pop” of the red really does it for me and I feel the two colors compliment each other.

I picked jade and chartreuse… I LOVE them together, but I used those two colors with purple πŸ™‚ So, I might be biased

What about doing jade and chartreuse, and then add small pops of red? That way you get the dramatics without the christmas flair. πŸ™‚

I’m doing kind of what Jenlon did, dark purple with shades of green. But that’s mostly because I’m too lazy to do the work that goes into color matching.

Red and green, as beautiful as they are together, will always make me think of Christmas.

I voted for green and chartreuse.  It’s a beautiful color combonation (I love monochromatic themes)!

@atalante:  Haha! I ended up with basically shades of green, blue, and purple cuz color matching was getting SO difficult

Either is nice, but I prefer chartreuse

I know you said you want the main color to be jade, but I think the trick is to make the colors an unequal saturation. I think for greens it might be worth investigating mint green and sage green. Or try doing 3 colors. I think red, chartreuse, and jade would be lovely together.

My girls are wearing Jade dresses fom DB and its an off beat enough green that if you went with a bright red it would not look Christmassy. Although I do really enjoy the jade and chartreuse πŸ™‚

I voted green and charteuse. I agree with @LindsayMaree: that red and green will always remind me of Christmas.

My BMs wore jade dress from Alfred Angelo with pistachio sashes — The sashes looked less-saturated than most of the green that I used in the decor, but I did that because I wanted it to be something the girls liked a little bit more – Didn’t want it to be too BAM for them πŸ™‚ I really went for a BRIGHT green for my GM’s shirts – they looked awesome πŸ™‚ And my MOH wore and eggplant purple dress with a jade sash – I loved this combo!
