I am having an outdoor wedding in late summer in Ohio and I am having the hardest time picking out colors! I originally chose a red and aqua combination that I absolutely loved (mostly because I would be able to use lots of beautiful red roses!) But once I found a venue that I love, I thought that these colors were more suited to a sit down indoor reception that the outdoor afternoon affair I was planning. Now, I like a green and orange combination, but everyone is telling me the orginal palette would work. Please help!

You can totally do red and aqua! (Im biased, lol, we did black and white with red and aqua)
Here’s some inspiration boards that are more casual and fun

I think you can absolutely use your original idea for an outdoors wedding. I love the aqua outdoors in the summer! I’m biased as well, I did that.

Thank you so much for all the inspiration! It’s great to see some ideas in the color I first loved, lol. It’s also good to know others have pulled this off.

OP-While researching the best advice I should give you regarding you throwing yourself your own engagement party…I fell upon your older posts. You’ve been asking about colors, themes, playlists, and a lot of wedding planning events/vendors-but You’re not even engaged yet, and even if your boyfriend decides to propose soon, you won’t even be getting married for at least 3 year, per your own admission-you seem like you’re just obsessed with getting engaged. Enjoy the time and stage you are currently at with your boyfriend now-instead of wishing you guys are in a place you clearly aren’t. Stop stressing over small stuff that shouldn’t even be on your radar right now, and have fun and be confident in your relationship as it currently is.
