I’m not the most artistic person in the world. I have a hard time picturing things without seeing them right in front of me. I found flowers that I LOVE and want to match the wedding to, but I don’t know what to do. I want most of the wedding to be white. I like the light airy feel of it and we’re having it at a vineyard, so I don’t want to darken it.
I was hoping you creative ladies could help me. I don’t know what colors to do runners, bridesmaid dresses, accents… it’s all so overwhelming. I was thinking a burnt orange color, but I’m worried about things not matching since there are so many shades of orange. Or I could do a lighter orange, or brown, or another color. I’m lost. Save me bees!
As always, pictures would help me a lot
Here are the flowers I love:

@MechEBee: It is hard developing a color palette.
Try these sites:
http://www.theperfectpalette.com- scroll down on the right till you see one of your colors, click on that circle and you will see all the palettes they have develped using that color
http://design-seeds.com/ – click on palette search, paly around with the search by color value tool till you get a color you love,, then click on Go Get it
Once you have the color palette you love, go to the paint store and get several paint chips in each color. Carry them with you at all times.

@julies1949: Thanks! I’ll check it out.
I should also mention that all of my bridesmaids are extremly white/fair skinned. So I don’t want to get a dress color that washes them out. Not sure what colors are good for that

@MechEBee: Haircolor is also a factor. Some women with fair skin can wear certain colors while others can’t.
I suggest you ask your BM’s to let you know what colors they feel good wearing. Don’t promise them anything, but let them know that you want to take this into consideration when you choose your color palette.
