I like those colors.  They are very spring time colors and look beautiful together.  I don’t know what your sister is talking about!!!

I think the colors look nice together.  I would keep with what you like, if any doubts you could always add a hint of third color like a navy or green.  But again if those are the colors you love keep them!

Personally, I think the Blue Topaz with the Lipstick is a bit much but again, it’s what you like.

@SoontobeMrsA: I think the blue, pink and yellow might make it look a little less sophisticated (like more of child’s birthday). I’d stick to the Buttercup, but personally I like a less common pinkish color with it, like Coral.

I think that you can pull it off, but the key is the proportions of each color and how they relate to each other.  For example, my friend had a July 4th wedding this year and she wanted to use red, white and blue.  She was really smart about it though.  She made the ceremony white, the cocktail hour blue, and the reception red.  It was probably the most beautiful wedding I’ve been to.  But I think you can do it too with mixing the colors together, as long as one color is primary and the other ones are accents.  I love this picture and how it uses different shades of pink with yellow as an accent.

I like those colors! Maybe add a neutral such as an ivory or champagne?

I love the pink/yellow combination and I think adding in your FI’s choice would work as well.  I’d just choose 1-2 primary colors and then have the 3rd or other 2 be an accent color.  Here are some ideas that I found with google:

Personally I think you can make just about any color combination work and look sophisticated and classy, it just really depends on how you mix the colors.
