I voted on option 3 because I think that would promote a more general use that just weddings, but be wedding appropriate for weddings at the same time.
I am a big fan of earthy tones I would rent the Ivory/cream/white with chocolate brown, champagne and soft ruby red florals
yep totally agree. my man thought i was wrong LOL thus the poll. painting it today!
Don't do anything bland because it won't show up well in pictures. The brighter the better. That's what I found out in the pics I had from my wedding. The beige tablecloth was just too blah.
Honestly, I wouldn't pick any of these colors, but I probably WOULD buy a stand if I could pick the colors.
Have you thought about custom stuff? Just have two or three stencil options, and a person submits the colors?
yep have thought about it. dont have a prob doing it as it gives me stuff to do. Let me finish the one im working on and I will post it. then you can see my work and if you want one i can make it for ya.
I did start painting mine today. I painted the base which is a soft creamy white. Then ive stenciled on some really chic roses in a mix or pearl ruby red and a darket red to give it depth. as that dries, tomorrow i will add in more earth tones. i think it looks great. fancy smancy said my kids lol

Ok ladies. I have a question only you can answer as other brides. As I am making my own beautiful milled wooden cupcake stand I think to myself - i could so keep woodworking and make some really gorgeous stands. And if I made stands so I could stay at home with my kids - what would the most liked colors be? Should I do basic ivory/white with a pearl, floral patterns, retro flowers??? and what colors do you think are best? Neutrals or should I do rich chocolates with deep ruby reds and champagne like mine is? (im doing a chic rose stencil pattern)
So what colors should I be using if I wanted to make some stands and rent them locally? What do you think?
thanks!
