I think the purple and green has more personality.

I like the purple and green too but i feel like I have seen that a lot lately. It's beautiful but i think the gold and blue is just as pretty and a little more unique!

I LOVE purple and green and am using those colors for my wedding! But I think the gold and blue work better for your venue.

You can't go wrong, though! Great choices!

Thanks everyone! I guess I can't go wrong.

@Allyser- As much as a love purple and green wedding, I have wondered if Purple and Green is going to be such a "2010" thing. I worry I might look back at it in 20 years and feel like it is dated.

I voted for the purple and green, but I really like the gold. It's very classy! I'm not sure about it going with the blue though.

Purple and green are beautiful together, but that combination is a bit trendy lately. Blue and gold could look over-the-top if it isn't done well, but if the gold is a little bit soft, like a champagne, then I could see that coming off looking really striking and lovely.

Blue and gold would be beautiful and very elegent.  Purple and green is too trendy for my tastes.

I agree! And what lindseymagen said is true.. the blue and gold looks great at the venue. It's a more formal elegant look.

I guess IMHO it would depend on how formal you want the event to feel. If you prefer a more formal feeling, then I'd go with the blue/gold. If you want a more "fun" feel to your wedding, I'd go with purple and green. Just a thought. Good luck! It looks like you almost have a tie!

The gold works well in what looks like a classic venue. I agree that I've seen a lot of purple and green recently.

    @Chelseycm:

What about doing blue for the gowns and cream/ivory flowers with champagne/gold colors for ribbons.  I just think the champagne/gold gowns wash out next to the table linens. I don't know, I just think more blue somehow would make things pop more, not to make it difficult.

Why not both?  Purple and blue are lovely together, and gold is a great accent.

I think either combination will be lovely, and the purple can really pop out!  I like the ideas about combining!

i love the purple and green! depends on the timing of your wedding though (i see it as more of a summer color combo). Both are beautiful combos. I'm doing purple and green so I may be biased :)

Is it daytime or evening? I'm doing purple and green with silver accents for my daytime wedding. I think the blue and gold would be great for evening.

I think purple will be more flattering on your bridesmaids, unless they are like seriously gorgeous and fit.  Gold is not forgiving.

    Gold and blue! Very sophisticated.

But brenda.m.fields' point is good... gold dresses will be harder to wear, unless your BMs have perfect bods.
