I am having an impossible time finding the perfect wedding colors and the dresses to match! whenever I find colors I love I can’t find bridesmaid dresses to fit-other than the ridiculously expensive j.crew dusty shale- I CANNOT ask my bms to spend that kind of money. I am looking for something in the greens, I know a lot of people like the misty blue for an alternative to the shale but it’s just too blue for me. below is my dreamcolor palette but searching for a reasonable priced dress to fit it is kiling me! Thanks for any help out there!

Kisskatbar: Love your colour scheme! How much are you looking at wanting to spend?

You could also consider a dress is a color complementing those, like a light gray or ivory or maybe a blush color?

Bari Jay’s misty blue color is similar. Dessy has a color called fresh that is also about the same color, maybe a bit more blue/green.

There’s also sellers on Etsy that offer dresses in colors similar to dusty shale. This would probably be your cheapest route. Hey! Maybe Donna Morgan’s Hint of Mint color:
or beach glass (maybe too blue):
Or if you’re good with teal, victorian jade looks beautiful:
My girls have Donna Morgan dresses (we got them on sale through the website for $59.99) and LOVE them 🙂
Shabby Apple also has good finds, if you’re thinking vintage or retro:
I second the Mod Cloth suggestion, they have some great stuff…LOVE them!
Good luck, it’s a great color palette 🙂

have you tried any chinese dress makers? I used Denias from DH Gate and had a great experience. Perhaps they have the colour you’re looking for?

ThursdayLove: I love the Donna Morgan! My original colors were going to be dusty teal and mustard
But I couldn’t find the right teal…everything is so bright. How did you get your dresses for so cheap?
Im hoping my girls won’t have to spend more than 150 on dresses and I want full length dresses. I love the
convertible wrap dresses http://twobirdsbridesmaid.com and I was looking at the etsy version via coralie beatrix but I can’t find the right color 🙁

One perhaps slightly off the wall suggestion is going with navy. It’s a lovely neutral colour and a great base for other colours.

Kisskatbar: oh my gosh, I think this one could totally work (great price point, good color, great reviews, and the seller can make them longer): https://www.etsy.com/listing/152868089/mint-bridesmaid-convertible-dress?ref=shop_home_active_16
Don’t get discouraged, you have great colors! And I totally lucked out with my dresses – the stars aligned, the seasons changed and the dresses went on super sale lol.
I did a Google search for “dusty teal or mint convertible dress” and a site called Polyvore came up and gave pages of results in various shades, lengths and price points (I’d paste it here but my iPad is acting cray cray and deletes what I’ve written when ai go to another tab). It might be worth a look, there was a cute strapless chiffon maxidress that could work too and it was under $100.
Can’t wait to see the dresses you finally choose, I know they’ll be great! 🙂

I love the etsy dresses but am hesitant to buy a dress without at least seeing a swatch and both those last etsy dresses have difficult to get swatches!
