I’m not going to list any of my least favorite combos because I don’t want any brides using them to feel bad.

But my favorite color combos are:

Yellow and gray
Pink, black, and white
Navy and yellow
Peacock theme colors
Yellow, black, and white

Ironically my wedding wasn’t any of those combos, but I really love seeing inspiration boards from weddings that used them!!

My wedding is Aqua and Red! I am not really sick of any color combinations! I do however have a preference towards bright and fun!

I’m a fan of the bright color palettes, especially when red and yellow are put together. That’s probably why I’m using that combo for mine. 🙂

Just curious Danielle, which are the ones you’re sick of seeing?

I don’t really mind any colors.  I figure it’s what they like.

Me…I am having berry colors.  Not just one color but like 5 or 6. Anything berry.

I like the blush colors with cream and light gray a lot though.

Redstar…we are doing red and yellow also!

I love the idea of red and aqua, too!

My friend had a wedding that was bright pinks/oranges/etc and then gold.  It was really pretty, mostly just here flowers were colorful, everything else was in a white/gold palate.  It turned out really nice.

I agree that my least favorite are the ones that have been seen most often including:

  • Red, Black, White (just isn’t very wedding to me)
  • Pink and Brown (too girly for me and done too often)
  • Fuschia and Black (Very pretty, but again, doesn’t give me the wedding feel).

I am just doing Green (lots of shades including fern, olive, and lime) and dark browns (linens and around the venue) and then ivory and white to balance it all out.

our colors are technically lavender and chocolate brown (and i dont know why, but it actually gives me pleasure to know that people dont like it! ha!) i guess i haven’t been to enough weddings in the past few years, because i haven’t seen it overplayed anywhere.

however, the palette has really turned into many shades of brown and a smattering of lavender here and there.  we’ll see when it’s all said and done.  very rustic – burlap, twine – that sort of thing.

i’ve never been a huge fan of fuschia weddings…  it seems so prom to me with black and/or white.  but fuschias mixed with chartreuse or orange definitely has a different personality.  same for red – with black/white it’s just not my cup of tea, but with aqua it’s an amazing combo!
