Raspberry and apricot for me… Thinking raspberry for the BMs, apricot for the flower girls and generally as an accent all round. I think I’ll try to convince caterer to do a raspberry and apricot pavlova or something as dessert!

Does mint green interest you, at all? Or a softer, sage green? Pretty, but easy on the eye…

well if the orange/apricot was your main colour, something like raspberry would be a wonderful accent then…

lovely stuff in the orange gallery on the knot… pick something that will make you smile. I love orange, but I just knew I’d be minus 4 bms if I tried to put them in orange dresses! I love pink too, so that’s me. I’m actually really looking forward to looking at pretty striking flowers in bouquets all day!

What about one or two shades of purple with gray? Then maybe a pop of accent color with sky blue or green? It really shouldn’t matter if other people you know have used similar colors – every combination has been used before! So if you like it, go with it! 🙂

Why not use purple as an accent color??  You can maybe do a dark/royal blue, with raspberry and accents of purple.

I went to bed and was just in it when I thought of black and white for you. Can look very smart, and you could have any accent colour at all. My bro’s wedding was black and white, and it did look v elegant. Purple tones in the flowers. And that was 17th june a few years back, total scorcher of a day, and it looked fine. boys had dove grey vests and ties to break up the black a bit.

You won’t look like a copycat. There are only so many colors out there. Maybe find an intriguing accent color? (I like the suggestion of raspberry!)

I think I’ve finally chosen my colors… I keep changing my mind on the actual shade of my accent colors(reds). But as of today, my colors are Turquoise/Aqua and varrying shades of red/coral/apricot.  With some slate/charcoal gray thrown in there to neutralize it 🙂

We are thinking Cobalt blue and a light yellow as an accent color!

We are going with the color scheme of a peacock feather.  The bridesmaid’s will be the brighter blue in the feather, while the flowers will represent the green, purple, and royal blue.  There will also be peacock feathers in the bridesmaids flowers, while mine will have white ostrich flowers.

Thoughts?

What are the colors you have other than purple?
