What about varying shades of purple and varying shades of gold? (Like rose gold, yellow gold, antique gold, brassy/bronze?) If you love purple, who cares what time of year it is!!!

I second the idea of varying shades of purple.  I think it will expand on your infinity theme because there are infinity shades of purple.  Purple looks good no matter what time of year.

Just because your wedding is in October doesn’t mean you have to have fall colors or a fall theme.  We got married in November and used turquoise blue and lime green for our beach wedding.

Choose whatever colors you like! And whatever theme. It doesn’t need to match the season.

Our wedding is on halloween, and we aren’t having a halloween themed wedding. *gasp!* We are actually having a rustic-romance theme with our colors being black white and accents of pink.

  • Wedding: October 2014  Sorry went pictures crazy. First off date twin!!! Secondly as PP stated before you can use whatever you want it is your wedding. My wedding colors are blush, ivory, silver and cobalt blue for a splash of colors. I am gettign married in the Bahmas but I feel not matter where you are the colors should be about the couple not the season (Even tho I do find seasonal wedding beautiful too). Thirdly purple would be lovely and you can do so much with the endless shades of purple . I don’t know exactly the style your going for other then the infinity theme but here are some purple ideas to get you started. BM giftsmaybe??

Buzzing bee  What about purple and green?

My friend had an August wedding with those colors, and it was beautiful, and I think it could totally work for fall!

I love osage oranges, and I think their shade of green would go so great with purple. They’re “in season” in september/october, so you could use them to decorate with, if it’s your style, of course.

That was my date too, until we switched to a brunch and the daytime slot was already booked for that day. So we switched it to the 19th. I toyed with the idea of fall colors, but the  BMs were not thrilled about orange dresses and I was worried about it looking too halloween-y. Besides, my venue is an indoor atrium that looks like springtime 365 days of the year. So I’m leaning towards rosewood (DB color), blush and champagne. Do what you like and what represents you. 🙂

  • Wedding: October 2014 I love the purple, green, and grey colors that MichiganGirl24 posted!  I also think the peach, grey and silver would look amazing too!

Our wedding is in October too, but I wanted to stay away from any Fall themes since the ceremony will be outdoors, and I figured there would be enough Fall colors around naturally.  I know most people like to coordinate their colors according to the season, but I say pick whatever color combo that pleases you.  FI loves blue and I love green, so that’s what we went with.

There are no rules! We’re having our wedding in November, which is kind of an in-between month…and I really didn’t want to do the burgundy/orange/gold fall thing OR the white/silver winter wonderland thing.

So we’re doing mixed jewel tones. Deep greens, blues, purples, turqoise…the bridesmaids are each wearing a different colour:

And for our centerpieces we are keeping it really simple because our venue has a lot of decoration already. They will look something like this:

We are going to have the florist add peacock feathers to the centerpieces to tie in the jewel tone colours, sort of like this:

My wedding was in October and I absolutely didn’t want “fall” colors. Just don’t like the oranges, yellows, browns, and golds. I did red, white, and black. I’d post pictures but the new WB sucks ass and my gallery is gone. So here’s the link to my recaps if you want to take a look:
