I heard of some wedding coordinators that offer day of services. I am a little tempted because my MOH is out of state and will only be there a couple days before the wedding and i dont know how much i can count on the rest of the people in my wedding party to help the day of. I have heard that the facility usually helps with centerpiece set up but i am just wondering if anyone who is closer to their date or has already had their wedding can give me feedback on what they did and if it is worth it to hire someone.

I can’t imagine not having a day of coordinator. Our wedding was a month ago and I’m still getting comments about how everything went perfectly and stayed on schedule. Nothing ever goes perfectly, but that’s what the coordinator is for – to tackle mishaps, handle crisis and keep the bride/groom calm & happy! In my book, it’s a must-have vendor. If you decide not to hire a professional, make sure you pick someone outside of your wedding party so they can devote their full attention 🙂

If you room in your budget, I highly suggest getting a day of coordinator. That way you can focus on just being a bride on your day and not have to worry about the details, and best of all you have someone to keep you on schedule!
