Hi, I haven’t really started planning yet, but i’ve been contemplating using a wedding coordinator in Orange County (but would imagine they cost a lot). Is it possible for hundreds of dollars or does it usually cost into the thousands? If anyone has any recommendations and could give an average ballpark as to how much it costs/how much they helped, it would be appreciated!! thanks!

Have you looked at this post regarding DOC’s located in LA? I’m sure the DOC’s that are willing to do LA will also do OC.
One of the cheaper ones I found was Natalie Huynh. I think her current price is $500. I’m going to book her for my wedding in May. She can be reached at [email protected].

Natalie Huynh is my day of coordinator. And she provides assistance during the whole process!!! My wedding is in October and she has helped me prioritize what i need to do as well as recommended vendors based on what I want. She is not pushy and she is very organized. I highly recommend her.

thanks for your recommendations! 500 sounds reasonable to me. i’ll email her when i figure out a date/location. I wonder if the other sites listed on the other posts are around that same price. if anyone has any other rough costs from other companies, i would really appreciate it! 🙂

I hired Paola from Just Chic Events right before the holidays and she has been amazing so far! She is definitely reasonably priced and although I only hired her as a DOC, she has provided alot of assistance via email for the past month. I contacted her past brides and they seemed very happy with her, so I am really excited to have hired her.

My main coordinator is Courtney from Joyful Weddings and Events. Since she is booked already on my wedding day, her associate will be handling the event during the day and she does give a discount if her associate covers your wedding. Though I have not met with Courtney yet, she is the sweeeeeeeeetest person! She used to live in the OC, now she lives in Escondido, but is still active in the OC area. =D

My coordinator is so awesome! She’s certified and in the OC. She’s under what most have quoted here (she’s still getting her portfolio together and is building up clients).

my DOC is alicia coulter from cultivating events in LA… she’s amazing, friendly, and wont charge you for any phone calls etc…she’s held my hadn through the entire process…

Try clementine & clover events, they’re just starting out and have prices below $500:
