Hey.. I haven’t seen you on in a while!!

Well I didn’t quite have wedding crashers. However, at the end of the night, I heard that a few people from the engagement party in the next room heard our music & said that it sounds more fun in my room than theirs… So a few hung out by the door enjoying the music. That made me feel good.

we had crashers at our wedding. they were my neighbors from down the street. they showed up later in the evening, maybe around 10:00. i was kind of annoyed. i have nothing against them, but they weren’t invited, so they shouldn’t have been there helping themselves to free drinks :/

a friend of my dad’s showed up too. i saw him and his wife and i was like, “wait…i didn’t invite them…?” i found out later that my dad had seen them earlier that week and told them to “come on by.” like, wtf? you can’t just invite people to my wedding without telling me! he said he didn’t think they’d actually show up, but mexicans don’t pass up a party, lol. but we had a lot of no shows, so it worked out ok as far as food and seating went. and they gave us a good gift, so we forgave them, lol.

We had some people wearing shorts and t shirts wander onto the property where we were having our reception. They immediately got into the bar line, haha! My photog told them that it was a private event so they needed to leave. They then pretended to not speak any English and still hung around! When my catering manager spoke to them, they told her (in ENGLISH!) that my photographer said they could stay! hahah.

@Carlasgettingmarried:  lol yes, they did leave after my caterer talked to them. We had a pretty good laugh over it and it’s one of our favorite wedding stories!

There were none at our wedding but one of my friends had her wedding at a resort that was connected to a casino, and there were some party crashers. Even with security it was hard for them to keep crashers out given the amount of people going in and out. She didn’t even realize that this had happened until she got her pictures and noticed these random people in the background. Since they didn’t photobombed, cause any trouble, and she didn’t notice she didn’t even mind after the fact.

My friend had her wedding in a resort type… place near Chicago. During cocktail hour, people going to and from the indoor pool just kept wandering through, swimsuit and towels and all, and then kept wandering in to the reception afterwards. It was so strange. The venue didn’t have a good handle on that sort of thing at all.
