So I am having a pretty traditional reception, i have a more classic envision planned. but there is one thing kind of trendy i want to do. for the first dance as a couple I want to dance to our song (most of it) and then break out in a fun dance to upbeat songs for liek 15-20 sec each for i don’t know how long. i know that order of dances these days vary but i was wondering if you can have the father daughter dance first, then the bride and grooms first dance? because our first dance will start off normal and end fun and upbeat and i think it would be weird to go back to a slow song for the father daughter dance and then upbeat again to invite everyone onto the dance floor. does this make sense? someone please comment and tell me what you think! also the dances are taking place after cutting the cake which is after the formal dinner.
