(Closed) Wedding date change

I say stick with the date you really want– personally, my thought is, the people who really care about seeing you get married will make the time no matter what you pick; and the ones that don’t obviously don’t mind missing it anyway, so why should you pay for their seat if they’re just coming for the free meal? It might be a bit more cynical than some of the responses on here, but I’ve seen far too many couples bend over backwards and break the bank to throw a fabulous party for their 300 closest friends and family, when 1/2 the guest list didn’t really care about the couple in the first place.  

Plus I think a Halloween wedding would be awesome!!!

Does anyone who you’re inviting have kids? Halloween means trick-or-treating, which may keep some people from coming. 

Halloween also means parties. Since your bridal party will still be in high school, they may be bummed that they’ll miss out on this. 

Of course, if these two things aren’t issues for you, I see no problem with it. =)

Then I’d go for it! As far as your flower girl, maybe you could provide her with a bunch of Halloween candy as her gift?
