Don't worry, you have so many options. You can buy a preowned dress from sites like eBay or preownedweddingdresses.com. Also go to consignment stores or bridal salons that may allow you to take a sample dress home.
@nuwife2013: Davids bridal will let you buy the sample dresses off the rack! My advice go shopping this weekend!
David's bridal will be a great choice for you, they have many off the rack solutions! A lot of bridal salons also have off the rack gowns, but most likely not as many as David's.

Just a quick update I purchased a $1300 for 500. The designer was having a sale at the boutique. So thats done now I'm stressing the invitations I haven't found anything that I like. Any advice??? This wedding date is coming quickly!!!
I'm in the same boat! Our wedding just got pushed up from May to February 23, 2013! Definitely go to David's Bridal and find a sample dress that you love :)
go to michaels or joanns or hobby lobby - print out coupons and buy the invitations you can make urself.. there is usually 40 to 50 % coupons online that you can print off from michaels and joanns
Oh wow! I am glad you got your dress, and what a deal!! I agree with the previous poster, buy invites from a craft store and print them your self.

I am having a serious dilema. My wedding date was originally scheduled for September 23,2013. But since my fiance' is coming home sooner we decided to move it up to March 23 and have our dream wedding 2yrs from now "vowel renewal". Now, I am starting to panic, my dream dress I can't get this soon and the venue originally scheduled for September is booked. Last resort will be a backyard wedding something small and intimate. Any suggestions were I can find a beautiful wedding dress in a hurry????? Please Help!!!!
