Nope. My cousin did my hair and it turned out great. We didn’t do a trial, I just told her “Up in loose curls” and it  turned  out great!

@sparklerunner:  Yea, I regret letting the guy cut my hair 2 weeks before the wedding.  Now I hate my wedding pictures because my hair was too short. 🙁

i regret who i had chosen to do my hair– paid 70 dollars for litterally a hot mess— i got back to hotel room and my bridesmaids redid my hair so it wasnt as poofy and teased. they went to the beauty school and har gorgeous hair. 🙁

@sparklerunner: Ahh! Yes yes, pick me! I am!

@Andthepupmakes3:  I was convinced I was going to do my hair in a loose kind of messy half-up do with a waterfall braid. I grew out my hair for two years. It was half way down my back and so pretty. The closer we got to the wedding I decided to do it up. My hair would barely hold curl, and I didn’t want to fight with it all night and regret it in photos. I’m still really happy that I chose a pretty timeless look (I didn’t want my future kids to looks back and say, “Mom, why is your hair such a mess on your wedding day?” I’m convince messy updos are going to date photos just like 80s puff shoulders and 70s turtlenecks.)

Anyways, I’m happy with my hair, I love it a lot, and I’m glad that it looks like in all my photos from start to finish of the day, but I still get a pang of “What would I have looked like if I had left it down?”

What I initially wanted:

What I did instead. (Slightly falling out in the second picture)

@MissyDoll: I love the length in the second! Very soft and fun, but still mature enough to be bride-y. Gorgeous.

I wasn’t too picky – I knew I wanted an updo with lots of volume. The first version didn’t go so well but she did another updo (same appointment) and I liked it much better. I looked nice and my hair was out of my face so that’s all that mattered. I didn’t really dwell on any details… it goes by so quickly and unless something major goes wrong, no one notices or cares.

@sparklerunner:  No, I loved my hair because it was MY style 🙂

I am a braid kind of girl and that is what I did for my wedding:

I loved my hair but the one regret I had was not putting proper spray on it. It was curly so after a few hours it got frizzy and started to revert.

I was so torn between wearing it up or down. I always have my hair down, but I felt like up was more bridal. I ended up having it up with a veil for the ceremony then took it down and put a crystal headband in for the reception. Sooo glad I did that, I got the best of both worlds.
