So I need some advice from you all about wedding day makeup. I’m naturally very freckly and even thining about being in the sun makes my little polka dots jump out! The thing is, I love my freckles and I want them to be out and proud on the wedding day. Here in lies the problem. All of the make-up advice I’ve seen is all about full coverage or wiping the slate clean….I don’t want a stop free face that runs into my freckly check and shoulders to look like I’ve had a face transplant. Anyone have any great ideas or suggestions about foundations or other concoctions that will even out redness a bit, give a little coverage but still let my spots shine? Thanks!

I’ve never used it, but aveno makes a moisturizer that’s tinted…maybe something like that can be ised in place of a foundation?

I’m in the same boat! I just had a makeup trial on Saturday and she used an airbrush. She said that airbrushing is very light and my freckles will still show – they didn’t!
I use Bare Minerals at home, and that seems to work well and still show my freckles. I went to a Bare Minerals store and asked if they do bridal makeup. My new trial won’t be for three weeks, and my wedding is in four!
Anything else you ladies can think of?

lildolly011: I’ve heard airbush give you the coverage needed but still allows your skin to breathe and freckles to show. I would ask the makeup artist(s) that your thinking of using if it would be possible and maybe do a trial to see if your comfortable with the coverage.
