Is your date really Nov. 12? Because my wedding nightmares started way before two months out! haha, I was having them before we even got engaged...
I think it's because you know how you want everything to go but really it's all up in the air until the wedding day...
Oh goodness yes! Constantly!
In my dream last night I got to the wedding and realised I had forgotten to have my braces removed (I have braces on but am getting them off on Monday) and I turned HYSTERICAL. I mean, absolutely mental. I cried and cried and wailed and screamed like a total crazy, and called off the wedding. Yikes. I'm a little scared of myself now!
All my nightmares are about me forgetting to do something important, like get my dress taken in (so it falls off as I'm walking down the aisle), or a while back before I had hired chairs or caterer, our reception was just everyone sitting on the floor with no furniture, food, or music. Wow, rocking party.
But PS, an ice cream wedding cake would be AWESOME. Providing it doesn't melt of course.
Yep...November 12! I am so nervous though. I've never had dreams like this before. I told my Fiance he said to chill out cuz I was way to OCD to let any of that actually happen.
Meanwhile...I'm calling the Bridesmaid to make sure my dress is okay!
@cruzan1978: My wedding is the day after yours and I have been having nightmares for about a month or so now. We started planning our wedding fairly late for the date (though we had the venue since January). My nightmares have revolved around having our wedding the next day and nothing being ready. This has ranged the whole spectrum of ways things can be not ready. Ugh, I always wake up thinking something did go wrong until I remember I still have months to go!
AAH mine just started this week...you're lucky yours only started 2 months out haha!
Two nights ago I dreamt that FI and I were running really late to get ready for the wedding...I had a nail appointment at 5pm (why so late, I don't know) and when I got to the salon all the stylists/nail girls were chatting and my appointment didn't even *start* until 6pm, so by the time FI and I got to the venue we were really late and we ended up calling off the wedding because it was "too soon". What.
Last night I dreamt that our whole wedding was a disaster, nothing was rehearsed, no one knew where to go when, none of the guests knew what was going on, I was completely spaced out during our vows so I forgot even saying them afterwards, no one was there for our first dance because no one knew it was happening...all this crap. Then the next day it turns out we realized we forgot to ever get a marriage license, so we weren't even really married! Then our photographers were trying to give us our pictures to look through...in a Wal-Mart, and then suddenly at a table in a restaurant, and the "album" was a bunch of prints glued into a graph paper notebook. And none of the pictures were of us, they were all extremely posed shots of various guests.
I was so happy when I woke up haha. Wedding nightmares are awful!
I've been having dreams since last October :\ the most recent one was last night - I dreamt that me & my BM were super super late to my bridal shower. Like, still driving there after it started. (We have to travel about 6 hours to get there and it's next weekend). BLAH I HATE YOU SUBCONCIOUS!
The nightmares I could laugh off after I calmed down from them. The daymares (as I am calling them) are making me crazy!
My mind keeps pulling the what ifs....
....what if my venue double booked and forgot about me
....what if my dress get's ruined at the seamstress (for some reason fire keeps coming to mind)
....what if my family forgets to show
and they just contine from there with every aspect possible.
I am giving myself quite the anxiety over here with 2 weeks to go. Oyyy...now I gotta go take some deep breathes and try to clear this crazy brain. :)
I'm a little less than 5 months out and I am already having plenty of nightmares! I guess when a huge part of our lives revolves around planning our weddings it's normal to be obsessing even in our dreams!
I had my first wedding nightmare about 1 week into our 2 year engagement. My family had already started looking at venues and talking about cost, and they were torn between "We can afford it- let's go somewhere beautiful" and "It's only one day- there's no need to spend big money." So, I had a dream that I got married in a Walmart. We walked down the big aisle between the grocery and non-grocery section, and the reception was in the produce area.
Oct. 22nd and mine started about 2 weeks ago. It is weird because I have almost everything done. I am pretty sure I have them every night.
We just started talking about getting engaged and I have had nightmares already; like one where my friend's parents took over planning my wedding and it was in a grocery store parking lot in the middle of the night!!
I had a wedding day nightmare a few weeks ago... my date isn't for 1 years!! lol
I have also been having wedding nightmares for the last few months. My most recent one was that I did not wash my hair before getting my hair done for the wedding day. In my dream, by the time I realized I hadn't washed my hair it was too late and time for my appt so she had to try to style my greasy mess. It was traumatizing lol.

And the nightmares have started...I lost my dress, I couldn't find the flippin church!, I was soooooo late. Like 10:00 pm to the church late and for some god awful reason I had a Fudgie the Whale from Carvel Ice Cream cake for a wedding cake and it melted! I'm hoping to god this is not a sign of things to come.
