I am trying to figure out how to schedule out all of my time on the wedding day and am looking for help! I have only been to one wedding and have four more to go to before ours, but am TOTALLY clueless on this front.

We are having the rehersal dinner on Wednesday, Thursday will be Thanksgiving (not sure what we are doing here, FMIL wants a family dinner and I want to have the day to myself and my bridesmaids), Friday will be the wedding.

Because of the holiday weekend we would like an early evening or afternoon ceremony start time so that those who are really nuts about shopping...can go shop.

Anyways long story short, please share your wedding timeline for the day of with me!

Thank you all so much, this helps me know what to plan/expect! I think we are going to do about a 4 pm reception as well, so I may just take both of yours as a reference and alter it a little!

    Thanks again

    4pm Guests begin arriving

    4:30pm Ceremony

5pm - 6pm Cocktail hour (while bridal party and family takes photos)

    This is my vague timeline:

10:00-1:00 hair and makeup with my girls and family.

2:00ish everyone heads over to our venue to get ready for pictures, relax, have some finger sandwiches and snacks (for the girls...presumably there will be a little alcohol involved for the boys :P)

2:30-4:30 getting ready pictures, first look pictures, other pictures, more pictures, lol

4:30-5:15 RELAX! Have some snacks, have a drink, and just chill

    5:15ish Ketubah signing

    6PM CEREMONY OMG!

    6:30ish-7:30 Cocktail Hour

7:30 RECEPTION! Dinner and dancing til you drop!

Midnightish Head back to our suite for our first night as husband and wife!
