So I’m having major issues figuring out the logistics of how we and our guests are going to get around the day of the wedding…and I keep thinking there is nooo way I’m the first bride to be havivng these concerns so to the beehive I go…
So our wedding party and immediate family are all staying at a hotel the night before the wedding that is a 15 minute drive from the location we’ll have our ceremony and reception. It is going to be a beach wedding so we obviously want beach pictures, and we have decided to see eachother before the ceremony to get most of the pictures out of the way.
We’ve already decided we will have a shuttle bus to take guests from the hotel to the wedding and then all of us back at the end of the night. The problem is we can not get into our venue until 45 minutes before the start of the ceremony because there is an afternoon wedding taking place. We need to figure out how to get my FI and I, our wedding party (12 ppl), and immediate family to our photo location (which will probably just be a few blocks down the beach from the venue) and then over to the venue. Should we just rent a small shuttle that will pick us all up at the hotel and bring us to pictures and the venue? I know this would probably be the easiest but I was trying to think of some way that our wedding party and family didn’t have to stand around for the hour or so that we were doing just the FI and I photos. Is there a better way we could go there earlier and then have a shuttle bring the rest of the crew over for pictures? I’d really like for the FI and I to arrive for the “first look” separately but I don’t know how I should be transported?!?
Any advice would be super helpful…I know other bees must have run in to these issues too.
