I’m a bit confused:

The problem is, she doesnt rent any of the decor, like pedestals, vase, candelabras etc. therefore I would have to rent it from a full on florist company which is the recommended florist of the venue or purchase them either on my own or she can do it from me because she has suppliers that she gets these things from for her clients

If she can do it, why wouldn’t she? Is she going to charge extra?

In the case of renting it from a different florist, I’d say yes you’ll have to take everything out/off prior to returning them.

I would imagine so.  You usually return rented items in similar shape, though plates and napkins are usually just asked to be rinsed/shaken out.

Call the florist and ask what their policy is.

@worriedconfusedbride:  OH! I get it now, sorry. Yes – I see where you’re coming from. I’d reccommend doing a couple things: first, call the florist company that you want to rent from and see if you can pick things up a day earlier and take them back a day later with no penalty. If you are able to, see if your florist would be willing to use the rented items, set them up and take them down as if they were her own. If your wedding is Saturday, for example, tell your florist you’ll drop off the rentals on Friday morning so she has all day to set them up, and not pick them up til Sunday afternoon, so she’d have half of Sunday to take it down. She might charge a bit extra, but if you know her well, she might not.
