I don’t know whether I should go with real or fake flowers! My center pieces are going to consist of antique blue glass ball jars (with the wire bales) and an arrangement of sunflowers, blue cornflowers, tiger lilies (orange) and daisies. I have contacted the florist that will be creating my bouquets and corsages/boutineers and she priced everything (3 bridesmaids, 1 bride, 1 toss boquet, 5 boutineers, three corsages and 55 center pieces) for $800. Is this a good deal? I dont have time to shop around as I work a lot of hours, am working on my masters degree and we are in the middle of calving season….followed by hay season….followed by weaning (see where i am going with this?? LOL)
I was thinking of possibly trying to get some fake flowers to save money but I don’t know if they would be any more cost effective than the real ones; also, I don’t really know what I am going to do with them after the reception. My aunt has generously volunteered to make all of the arrangements if I choose to go this route.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Right now my the quart size jars are going to serve as vases for the arrangements and the pint size jars will be filled with coffee beans and vanilla candles. Does this sound like an okay idea to everyone? I am kind of on my own for this wedding planning….so any ideas are appreciated….for anything!!
Just for an idea of where we will be getting married: here is the site for the church and we will be having a western/vintage theme.
Thank you so much…..in advance!!
